Description
Our beloved Club Trouw has been shut down since January 2015 but it’s memories and experiences will forever feel like yesterday. The Trouw Book is a unique insight behind the scenes and a look at the people who helped make it happen. This book explores the ideas and vision that established Trouw as an interdisciplinary space, linking food, architecture, community and conceptual art into one.
The Trouw Book contains a host of exclusive pictures, personal anecdotes and interviews from the various deejays, crew-members and founders that made up Club Trouw. It includes exchanges with all the Innervisions artists and interviews with former residents like Tom Trago and Job Jobse, while a cacophony of international voices, including Gerd Janson and Optimo, have penned some thoughts for this book. Founder and creative director Olaf Boswijk bids you farewell with an endearing letter and a thorough history of the venue is incorporated through conversations with the architects and designers, featuring stories dating back to Trouw’s many predecessors, including Club 11.
